There is a special beauty and tranquility to candles, but a lighted candle is also an open flame and a potential fire hazard if not carefully monitored.- Never leave a burning candle unattended
- Never burn a candle on or near anything that might catch fire
- Keep candles out of reach of children and pets
- Burn candles in a well ventilated room
- Use a candle snuffer or extinguish by bending wick into wax pool
- Never use water to extinguish a candle
CANDLE CARE
A few simple rules and a little common sense are all it takes to keep your candles looking lovely- Always store your candles in a cool, dark and dry place
- Tapers or dinner candles should be stored flat to prevent warping
- Avoid burning candles in any glass item not specifically designed for candles
- Regularly trim candle wicks
- Do not burn any candle for longer than the maximum recommended burn time
- Keep wax pool free of wick trimmings, matches or other debris which could catch fire
- If grouping candles, make sure they are at least 8cm apart
- Beeswax pillars are designed to be stand-alone candles. They should be placed on a pillar plate or candelabra
