Join our Beginner Soapmaking Class for an immersive experience in crafting your own natural soaps. This hands-on class will teach you the art of cold process soapmaking using high-quality ingredients and essential oils. Class Features: - Choice of Base Oil: Select between nourishing coconut oil or soothing olive oil for your soap base. Coconut oil offers rich lather and hydration, while olive oil provides a creamy texture and gentle skin care. - Essential Oils: Choose from our delightful selection. Personalise your soap with scents like rose geranium, lemon myrtle, or lavender. - Botanicals: Enhance your soap's natural beauty with various botanicals provided for garnishing. What You Will Learn in the Soapmaking Process: 1. Preparation: How to set up your workspace and gather ingredients. 2. Formulating: Lean the maths behind soap making. 3. Lye Safety: How to weigh and blend your lye solution safely. 4. Blending Oils: Learn about "trace". Combining your oils with lye and how to get it right. 5. Adding Scents and Botanicals: Choosing essential oils and botanicals. 6. Moulds: How to use moulds and learn simple soap topping techniques. 7. Curing: What is saponification, lye discounting and why it's important for the curing process. What's In Your Take Home Kit: - Safety Glasses - Soap Loaf Mould (makes up to 12 bars) - Immersion Blender - Jugs - Spatulas - Soap Cutter - Travel Box - Ingredients for soapmaking, including oils, lye, essential oils and botanicals - You will take home all equipment listed, including your soap mould filled with your crafted soap. Cancellation Policy

Booking and Registration - Booking Requirements: Participants must book their spot at least 14 days prior to the date of the class. Minimum and Maximum Participants - The class will proceed with a minimum of four (4) and limited to a maximum of seven (7) participants to ensure personalised attention and a quality experience. Payment Information - Payment Methods: All bookings must be paid for online through our secure payment portal. Cancellation Policy - Cancellation Notice: Cancellations are allowed up to 14 days before the start of the class. To cancel a booking please call our office directly during business hours (9am - 4pm) on 0437647086 - Refund Policy: No refunds will be given for cancellations made less that 14 days before the class commences. Safety Disclaimer - Safety Requirements: It is imperative for all participants to carefull read and adhere to the safety guidelines provided. These guidelines are established to ensure that safety and well-being of everyone involved. Failure to follow these recommendations will result in not being permitted to participate in the activity. We take safety seriously and reserve the right to deny participation to any individual who does not comply with the stated guidelines. Key Safety Recommendations Include: 1. Protective Gear: Participants must wear the appropriate protective clothing, listed in the course discription, for the duration of the course. This includes gloves which will be provided by the instructors at the start of the course. 2. Health Conditions: Individuals with pre-existing health conditions that may be exacerbated by the course method, this includes respiratory conditions, should consult a medical professional before participation. 3. Instruction Compliance: Participants are required to follow all instructions provided by the activity coordinators. Failure to adhere to directions may compromise safety and result in removal from the activity. 4. Enviromnmental Awareness: Be aware of your surroundings and any potential hazards. 5. Emergency Procedures: Instructors will familiarise you with the emergency procedures, locations of first aid kits and exits.
